practical shelter innovation for disaster relief

Double shelter

Benefits 28

Two frames placed against each other can make a much larger shelter.

As only one ridge pole is now required, the four spare poles are used to extend the living space outwards at each end.

These longer side poles are not the main support but cross at the top with the 3 other poles (ridge and 2 frame) to create a strong lashed together joint like a Teepee.
