practical shelter innovation for disaster relief

The steel double Reciproboo Shelter Kit (DRSK)

This much larger emergency shelter ( 25 sq metres) is produced by the addition of 14 tubular steel sections to the single shelter kit.

The extra headroom and living space this shelter affords, together with its option of sinking the support poles in the ground, make it the shelter of choice if poles are available.

Unlike the single shelter, both sides of the roof frame can be elevated to further increase headroom.

The support poles have an extra section added for the additional height. They can either be angled outwards as in this photo or sunk vertically into the ground.
